Upgraded Interior Features with Roomy Spaciousness

When comparing the 2021 Jeep Compass vs. 2022 Jeep Compass, buyers will immediately notice the difference in the two interiors. Both seat five comfortably, and they both offer UConnect infotainment systems and a digital instrument cluster. However, the 2022 model includes the UConnect 5 software with more user-friendly features along with standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Jeep Compass interior has a new dash with a driver-friendly elevated position. Both model years have the same interior specs with 99.6 cubic feet of passenger volume, with 39.2 inches of headroom, 41.8 inches of front legroom, and 38.3 inches of rear legroom. With the rear seats upright, the Compass has 27.2 cubic feet of cargo space and with the back seat folded cargo space increases to 59.8 cubic feet.

The 2022 Compass Sport trim comes standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and lane departure warning and mitigation. Adaptive Cruise Control is available on the 2021 and 2022 Jeep Compass Limited and Trailhawk trims.

Impressive Performance and Capability

The 2021 and 2022 Jeep Compass engine is a standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder that delivers 177 horsepower and 172 lb-ft of torque. All 2021 and 2022 trims have a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Only the Compass Sport and Latitude trims have standard front-wheel drive and available all-wheel drive. The other trims all have legendary Jeep all-wheel drive as a standard feature.

The 2021 and 2022 trims include the Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk. For 2021, buyers can also choose the Freedom, Altitude, and 80th Anniversary Edition. The newest trims for 2022 include the Latitude Lux, (Red), and High Altitude.

Buyers can add a towing package that gives the Compass up to 2,000 pounds of towing capability. The AWD models also have a drive-mode system that lets drivers choose presets for all-terrain driving. The fuel economy on all trims is an EPA-estimated 22/31 MPG.
