All models are all equipped with a 3.6L V6 engine, a 6-speed manual transmission, and Jeep’s Command-Trac part-time 4-wheel drive system.

There is also an available EcoDiesel 3.0L that is paired with an 8- speed automatic transmission (also optional on the V6 engine). To keep it rugged, each Gladiator features heavy-duty Dana 44 front and rear axles, heavy-duty brakes, heavy-duty shocks, and skid plate protection for the fuel tank.

The Gladiator is also equipped with an engine oil cooler, a Class II bumper hitch, a 7- and 4-pin wiring harness, and front and rear tow hooks also come standard.
